1st Day : Arrive at Casablanca Airpot Transfer from Casablanca airport to a hotel. 2nd Day : Casablanca – Rabat In Casablanca you will see the Hassan II Mosque, the largest one outside of Mecca and experience the coastal Cornish seaside. Afterwards, we will leave to Rabat. Here you will see the Hassan Tower and the Oudaya Kasbah, before you check in to your riad in the Medina. Overnight at Riad. 3rd Day : Rabat – Meknes – Volubilis – Fes After breakfast in your riad, you will start travelling to Fes via Meknes and Volubilis. In Meknes, another significant imperial city in Morocco, known as the Ismaili capital of Morocco, you will see the famous gate Bab Mansour, the Sahrij Souani Bassin, and the Mulay Ismail Mausoleum. After lunch, your journey continues to the Roman city of Volubilis, where you will get a chance to see the wonderfully preserved original mosaics, Roman road, and city layout. As you travel through the Moroccan countryside we will pass by the Holy City of Moulay Idriss for a photo opportunity. You’ll get to Fes at the end of the afternoon and check in to your riad within the Medina. Overnight at riad. 4th Day : Full day exploring Fes Breakfast in your riad, and then start an explorative journey of the Medina where you will visit the many hidden treasures that only the inhabitants of the place know about. Fes served as the capital of Morocco for more than 350 years and is home to the University of Al Karaouine, the oldest operating university in the world. Your guided tour will take you to Moulay Idriss mausoleum, the Nejjarine Fountains and the Tanneries. After lunch you will also view the exterior of the Royal Palace and walk through the famous Jewish quarter “the Mellah”, where you will have the option to visit one of the few living synagogues in Morocco. Your tour of Fes includes a short visit to the famous ceramic factory, and then you can enjoy a wonderful panoramic view over the whole Medina of Fes.Overnight accommodation at your riad. 5th Day : Fes – Azrou – Midelt – Ziz Valley – Merzouga Desert After breakfast in your riad, you will leave towards the southeast following the Caravan roads to Merzouga. During this journey you’ll experience glimpses of the Middle Atlas and Higher Atlas mountains. Stopping at the Cedar forest, the largest one in Morocco, over the Middle Atlas Mountains– where you may well sight Barbarian apes. After lunch in Midelt, you will continue through the large open high desert, and notice how the scenery changes to reveal hints of the desert as you approach the city Er Rachidia. Your journey continues along the luxuriant Ziz Valley and the Tafilalet date palm grove, famous for date cultivation. This area is the foundation of the Alaouite dynasty – the current ruling royal family in Morocco. You’ll arrive at Merzouga at the end of the afternoon – to be welcomed with a glass of mint tea before you check in to your riad. 6th Day : Merzouga area – Camel trek and overnight in berber tent After breakfast in the riad you will start an explorative journey of the area. You’ll visit the Gnawa people – originally slaves brought from Sudan -to experience their music and lifestyle. Not far away there’s the lake of Merzouga, with its bird populations. You may also visit the souk in Rissani , a traditional town which was the origin of the ruling family in Morocco and the meeting place of the Caravans trading as far as Timbuctou in Mali. Here you will see a lot of men hooded and women veiled. Back to the village of Merzouga for some rest, in the afternoon you will mount your camel, guided by an experienced camel man to explore within the sand-sea of Merzouga. Overnight will be at our desert camp, where you will have your dinner. For your convenience, the camp is equipped with western bathrooms. 7th Day : Merzouga Desert – Todra Gorges – Palm Groves of Tinghir – Dades Gorges Early in the morning, your camel guide will wake you up to watch what well may be the best sunrise of your life. After sunrise you will trek back to the village of Merzouga. Enroute you couldn’t fail to appreciate the unique beauty of the spectacular Erg Chebbi sand dunes – changing with the light as the day progresses. After breakfast in your riad, you’ll leave for Rissani , Tinghir, and Todra gorges – the highest, narrowest gorges in Morocco. After lunch in the heart of the gorge we’ll drive through the Dades Valley, where you’ll see the majestic sand castles and the amazing rock formations known as “monkey toes”. Overnight accommodation will be in a fancy hotel overlooking the Dades valley. 8th Day : Dades Valley – Kasbah Amridil – Palm Groves of Skoura – Ouarzazate After breakfast in the hotel we’ll drive through the Dades Valley towards Kalaat Mgouna and Ouarzazat. The route through Dades Valley is the way of the thousand Kasbahs – providing numerous opportunities to take some of your best photographic shots of the trip. We’ll stop at Kalaat Mgouna, “the rose city”, to purchase rosewater, which will make your linen smell good a long time after your trip is over. Continue to Ouarzazate via the Amridil Kasbah, one of the last Berber chieftains during the 18th century, now the Kasbah is a house of many Glaoui people. At night you will stop in Ouarzazat . 9th Day : Ouarzazate – Ait Ben Haddou Kasbah – Tizi n’Tichka Pass – Marrakech After an early breakfast in the riad, we wtat our journey to reach the ksar (fortified village) of Ait Ben Haddou where we will visit the famous Kasbah (declared World Heritage Site by UNESCO in 1986). Famous films have been shot in this spectacular stage, including Gladiator , Obelix, The Mummy, The Jewel of the Nile, Sahara with Penélope Cruz…etc. After visiting the kasbah we´ll go to Marrakech, we´ll see Tizi Ntichka port,that. with 2.260m is the highest point in our country. We´ll enjoy beautiful landscapes from the viewpoints on the way and make some stops to take pictures of the berber villages, at the end of the afternoon and check in to your riad within the Medina. Overnight at riad. 10th : Day trip to Essaouira After breakfast in your riad, you will start travelling to the coastal city of Essaouira. Getting there after about a 2 and a half hour drive to start exploring the city. Walk through the alleys of the medina and view hundreds of handicrafts. This “City of the Wind” attracts surfers from all over the world. Essaouira knew many civilisations – including the Portuguese occupation, which affects much of its architecture – however, it remains a small village with much history. Because of its size and its characteristic blue doors and washed walls, it is also regarded as Morocco’s “Jewel of the Atlantic”. You will also visit the women’s co-operative of Argan oil. Here they extract the oil that is famous for its culinary, cosmetic and medicinal properties. Lunch will be free in the medina or in the port. In the afternoon you will travel back to Marrakech. Overnight at riad. 11st Day : full free day in Marrakech Free day in Marrakech to see all places not seen before: After breakfast in the riad, you will enjoy a the sites with historical and cultural interest, including the Koutoubia Menaret; the Saadian tombs; the beautiful Palace of Bahia and the Ben Youssef Coranic School. Finally, end the morning by walking through the medina alleys -getting a chance to admire all of the different artisans performing their crafts before arriving at the famous Jamaa El Fna Square. Day 1 : Arrival to Casablanca – Rabat – Meknes Upon your arrival or pick up you at your hotel in Casablanca. We will visit the Hassan II mosque, the landmark of Casablanca which is the only mosque open for non-Muslims. The Hassan II Mosque will be the first introduction of Moorish influences in Morocco. It is built by the king Hassan II between 1987-1993. Over 25 thousand worshipers can pray inside and 80 thousand worshipers pray outside in the big square of the mosque. Our trip for today will be finished in Fes. Day 3 : Fes After breakfast you meet our local guide of Fes ; you are going to explore the old medieval medina of Fes and the 1st imperial city, a real labyrinthine of more than 9000 alleyways and deserves to be the intellectual and cultural capital of the kingdom. Mingled with fasi people in these streets full of articles , colours and donkeys carrying goods . You will see a lot of handcrafted items,Fes is number 1 in crafts, like old days using the same materials .The tanneries ,famous in fes, is one the highlights of the tour, watching locals working on skins of goat, lamp, camel and cow, in small pits. We will be surrounded by amazing sceneries and landscapes of mountains and plains. A special species of native monkeys living in cedar woods, over 30 members in one family called Maggot monkeys in Azrou. We will have lunch break in Midelt, it celebrates the festival of apples every years. There is a big contrast of landscapes especially when we drive through Ziz valley to get us to Arfoud ,the gate of the sahara, to Merzouga. Day 5 : Merzouga – Todra Gorges – Dades Gorges – Palm Groves of Skoura Ouarzazate After your breakfast we leave the sahara and head towards the old system of irrigation that is still used in the oasis of Eljerf.A break on the way in Tinjidad .We will have lunch in valley of Toudra. It is considered as one of the oldest valley in Morocco for caravan trading and where the first Moroccan money was made out of silver.A beautiful valley of 15 km of date palms ends up with a spectacular Gorges, mainly used for rock climbing and picnics. We embark on Dades valley which has an astonishing rock formation made by million years of erosion. We cross more Rose Valley, the only place in Morocco where we harvest Damascus rose in which we extract some products like rose water and rose oil best for skin treatment and anti-wrinkles. Overnight in Ouarzazate. Day 6 : Ouarzazate – Ait Ben Haddou – Telouet – Marrakech Next morning there are two place to visit in this cinematographic city. Taourirte Kasbah which is a real image of Berber architecture made out clay and straw and the studio of cinema. On our arrival to Ait Ben Haddou village we will go for a walk to visit this ancient village. An old village where a list of movie credits were made starting with the first movies “Lawrence of Arabia”, ”Jesus of Nazareth”, ”Gladiator” and the list is still going on. It is also listed in UNISCO as a site of world and national culture in 1987. Then we head to the great Telouet Kasbah strong hold fort, built by the lord of the atlas Thami Pasha and was trading center of caravans. We travel to the north of High Atlas Mountains via Tizi-n-Tichka(2260m).A spectacular road of red mountains and Berber villages to Marrakech. Day 7 : Marrakech For the city tour of Marrakech you are going with the local guide. You will visit Bahia palace;built by Bahmad Grand visir of Marrakech with its incredible mosaics and stucco and hear some interesting stories about 4 wives and the 24 concubines. The extraordinary architecture of Saadian Tomb, royal necropolis of 17th century. Spending some great time in the famous souks of Marrakech; you going to like different smells, colours, itmes and how big is the souks of Marrakech. Jack Majorelle garden,a peaceful spot in the ville nouvelle, contains botanic and exotic plants brought from all over the world, with dominating indigo blue to paint the wall.You will finish your tour at the square Jamaa Elfana. Day 1 Casablanca We meet you at the airport in Casablanca, and give you transfer to your hotel. After a long travel we suppose you find it comfortable not to have too much program this day. So we are flexible. Day 2 : Casablanca to Rabat We pick you up at 9.00 and take you for a visit to the magnificent Hassan II Mosques. We continue north towards Rabat, and we will partly follow the road close to the coastline. Through a rich agricultural area for fruit cultivation, mostly grapes, and also passing villages and small cities on the way. When we arrives the capital of Morocco, Oudaya for lunch, and after lunch visit the Chellah, the Mausoleum of Mohamed V and the Hassan Tower. Before taking you to the hotel we take you for a small visit to the Kings Palace – the area in front of the Palace is ordinary open for the public. Day 3 Rabat to Asilah This morning we continue north – through green and fresh agricultural areas among til olives. We arrives Asilah, one of the most beautiful old cities of Morocco. This fish port is well-kept and situated along the cliffs towards the Atlantic. After lunch we take you to the nearby lagoons. The rest of the day you can enjoy the fresh air and the picturesque and tiny houses and streets in this fishing town Day 4 Asilah This day is to explore the surroundings. The Old Town (Medina), the old Portuguese fortress, along walk along the ramparts and sea, or simply use some relaxing time at the wide, sandy beach of Asilah. The day is yours. Day 5 Asilah to Chefchaouen After breakfast the trip continues to Chefchaouen and we are passing the city of Tetouan before coming to Akchour in the Northern Rif Mountains of Morocco. Akchour is an area with huge walls and solid rocks– a beautiful area to have some fresh air on your way. In the afternoon we continue the last leg to “The blue city” Chefchaouen Day 6 Chefchaouen After breakfast it is time to explore the city. Chefchaouen is a beautiful town with its own distinct style, with well-maintained houses all in white with usually blue doors, and the houses are climbing the mountainside. Walking around in Chefchouen you could visit the Medina – a fascinating and concentrated charming area. And also the Kasbah - a heavily restored walled fortress with a lovely garden with a small Ethnographic Museum, and an even smaller Chefchaouen, including the plaza and the Kasbah, and the gallery promotes the work of local artists. Day 7 Chefchaouen to Fes After breakfast we pick you up at your hotel and go south passing the Rif Mountains – via Ouezzane and to Fes and arrive approx lunchtime. In the afternoon you will have a guided tour before we let you for yourself to explore this ancient city of Morocco Day 8 Fes to Cascade d'Ozoud We start from Fes after breakfast. We go south along the Middle Atlas through areas with mountains , green forest, Berber villages and valley with rich olive cultivation. We are passing the city of Kenifra and Beni Mellal – and continue the through small mountains to the fantastic seven waterfalls Cascade d’Ozoud. Here you can enjoy the sight of the great waterfalls in this very small village. Day 9 Cascade d'Ozoud to Marrakech After we take the last leg to Marrakech at lunchtime. After some days driving we suppose it can be good just to relax - maybe Hammam/SPA or take the sun at the roof of the riad. When the evevning come it is time to take you to the Square, Jemaa el Fna, where you can spend the evening in this colorful market place – among snake charmers, «oracles», musicians and not to forget the food stalls. After checking in you have an afternoon at leisure in this bustling commercial capital of Morocco. D Day 2. CASABLANCA / RABAT / VOLUBILIS / FEZ. volubilis After breakfast our adventure starts at the magnificent Hassan II Mosque, built by the late King and second only in size to the Great Mosque in Mecca. A short orientation tour of the Corniche area of Casablanca before setting out for Rabat, the Imperial Capital, for our visit of the magnificent Mohamed V Mausoleum where both Kings Mohamed V and Hassan II are buried. We also see the well preserved Tour Hassan and the Chellah which were built by the Merinid Dynasty between the 12th and 13th centuries to then continue our day taking the road to Volubilis, once a busy trading post for the Roman Empire, to see the impressive Roman ruins. The mosaics here are some of the best preserved in the world. A short visit of the Imperial City of Meknes, the one-time capital of Moulay Ismaël, founded in the 9th century by Zenata Berbers, including the old ramparts, the Agoudal Basin: the Moulay Ismaël royal stables and one of the most beautiful gates in Morocco – the Bab el Mansour – and the Moulay Ismaël Mausoleum, one of the very few holy sites in Morocco which may be visited by non-Muslims, then on to the Imperial City of Fez for our dinner and overnight stay. BLD Day 3. FEZ. Fez-place A full day to explore this magnificent city, one of the best living examples of a medieval Arab city and the religious capital of the Kingdom of Morocco. We take in the Karaouine mosque and Medersas whilst also experiencing the hustle and bustle of everyday life in the labyrinth of souks and tanneries. The tour includes photo stops at the imposing gate of Bab Boujloud, the ancient ramparts, the splendid fountain at Place Nejjarine and the beautiful front entrance to the Royal Palace. A light lunch is served in a local restaurant. We return to our hotel for dinner and overnight stay at the end of the afternoon. Doubtless, some shopping will be in mind! BLD Day 4. FEZ / ERFOUD. erfoud-place After an early breakfast we leaving on a full day’s drive south across the cedar forests of Ifrane, with its almost Swiss-Alpine scenery and on through the Middle Atlas Mountains for the desert region of the South. We stop for lunch at the incredible Ziz Gorges, then to take Landrovers for our journey down through the many oases in an ocean of sand to arrive at our final destination of the awesome dunes of Erg Chebbi. From here the Sahara stretches as far as the eye can see. We witness a stupendous sunset to return and spend the night in a local Auberge. BLD Day 5. ERFOUD / TODRA GORGES / OUARZAZATE. ouarza-place We’ll rise before dawn today to experience a breathtaking sunrise over the Saharan dunes from the back of a camel, back for breakfast before taking the road to the Todra Gorges. Lunch is taken in the shade of these towering cliffs before setting off on the road of a Thousand Kasbahs for Ouarzazate. In the afternoon visit of the town, including the 17th century Kasbah Taourirt and Kasbah Tifoutoute, both of which were once the homes of the powerful Pasha Glaoui. (Please note that either or both of these kasbahs may be closed without notice for film crews). Dinner and overnight in our Ouarzazate hotel. BLD Day 6. OUARZAZATE / MARRAKECH / OUIRGANE. ouirgane Setting out early in the morning towards the north up through the High Atlas Mountains via the Tizi n’Tichka and Marrakech to Ouirgane, we get our first real sight of the mighty Jbel Toubkal (4167m) and sister peaks as we arrive at our hotel tucked away in a beautiful valley for a bit of peace and quiet. Ouirgane has been called ‘The oasis in the High Atlas’. BLD Day 7. OUIRGANE / TREK / TIZZIANE. tiziane A late breakfast and it’s time to meet up with our mountain guide and mules to begin our trek of about 5 hours passing through the village of Touroud and from where we strike out along a piste to the National Park of Tassa Ouirgane. At the village of Tassa Ouir (meaning the Centre of Flowers)we hike between red pine and junipers to picnic amidst walnut trees near the forest in the Azerzeane Valley to continue down through the hamlet of Ikoubline and overnight in a Berber Gîte d’étape at the pretty village of Tizziane. (1600m). BLD Day 8. TREK TO AAZIB ASSOUÂL. AAZIB-ASSOUÂL Leaving Tizziane via the Tizi n’Touati (2100M) we ascend for 3 hours to reach the Assaka Plateau, passing stands of holm oaks, red pine and junipers to continue down to the Valley of the Assif D’Knt and a night under canvas near Tizgui at the Âazib Assouâl. BLD Day 9. TREK TO TIZI OUSSEM. tizi-oussem Ascent from Tizgui towards Tizi n’Taghoudalalte at 2700m with its impressive panoramic views. Descent through almost an almost alpine atmosphere with fields of poppies, wildflowers and ancient terraced irrigated fields along the Valley of the n’Aït Ouissa’dane to the last hamlet in this Valley-Tizi Oussem and our overnight bivouac surrounded by the Jbels Tasghimout (2004m), Aguelzim (3547m) and Tazaghârt (3843m). BLD Day10. TREK TO TAZAGHÂRT REFUGE. tazaghart Leaving Tizi Oussem we continue our climb to the end of the Aït Ouissa’dane Valley and then take lunch on a ridge at the Cascades d’Irhoulidene (2300m) with a close-up view of the mighty Jbel Toubkal and her sister peaks, to reach our mountain Refuge home for the night in the early afternoon. BLD Day 11. TREK TO THE TOUBKAL REFUGE. toubkal-refuge Today we cross the remote Tizi n’Taddate (3700m) along off-the-beaten goat trails up through the steep and rocky pass to the Jbel Bignouissen (4009m) where we picnic amidst some quite magnificent views. Our next challenge awaits us but first we descend to our overnight accommodation in the Toubkal refuge which, at 3207m, marks the spring snowline. BLD Day 12. TREK SUMMIT OF MOUNT TOUBKAL. Toubkal-mount An early start today for Toubkal. The summit is neither technical nor demanding but the views are particularly spectacular. When ready, we shall descend via the South Circuit for a straightforward ramble back to the Refuge. In the afternoon we have a gentle hike south-eastwards to the head of the Assif n’Aït Mizane Valley and the Tizi n’Ounoums (3664m) with a view of the distant Lake Ifni to return to our Refuge for the night.BLD Day 13. TOUBKAL SUMMIT / IMLIL / MARRAKECH. imlil An easy walk down the slopes of the Valley of the Assif n’Isouhouanem n’Ouagounss passing through Sidi Chamharouch to picnic by a waterfall then down through granite and basalt rocks to the village of Aroumd, built on a spur of moraine to arrive at Morocco’s ‘Little Chamonix’ – the trailhead village of Imlil for a quick cuppa before joining our transport to Marrakech for our overnight and dinner in our hotel. BLD Day 14. MARRAKECH. Jamaa-place A full day in Marrakech with a tour of the historical sites in the morning and the afternoon in the Souks around the Djmâa El Fna Square, with its myriad of street performers. Dinner is in a Moroccan restaurant with folklore and then overnight in our Marrakech hotel. BLD Day 15. MARRAKECH. souk-ma A day at leisure, or last minute shopping or the opportunity to make optional excursions. BLD Day 16. Day 6 Chefchaouen
After breakfast it is time to explore the city. Chefchaouen is a beautiful town with its own distinct style, with well-maintained houses all in white with usually blue doors, and the houses are climbing the mountainside. Walking around in Chefchouen you could visit the Medina – a fascinating and concentrated charming area. And also the Kasbah - a heavily restored walled fortress with a lovely garden with a small Ethnographic Museum, and an even smaller Chefchaouen, including the plaza and the Kasbah, and the gallery promotes the work of local artists.

Day 7 Chefchaouen to Fes
After breakfast we pick you up at your hotel and go south passing the Rif Mountains – via Ouezzane and to Fes and arrive approx lunchtime.
In the afternoon you will have a guided tour before we let you for yourself to explore this ancient city of Morocco

Day 8 Fes to Cascade d'Ozoud
We start from Fes after breakfast. We go south along the Middle Atlas through areas with mountains , green forest, Berber villages and valley with rich olive cultivation. We are passing the city of Kenifra and Beni Mellal – and continue the through small mountains to the fantastic seven waterfalls Cascade d’Ozoud. Here you can enjoy the sight of the great waterfalls in this very small village.

Day 9 Cascade d'Ozoud to Marrakech
After we take the last leg to Marrakech at lunchtime. After some days driving we suppose it can be good just to relax - maybe Hammam/SPA or take the sun at the roof of the riad.

When the evevning come it is time to take you to the Square, Jemaa el Fna, where you can spend the evening in this colorful market place – among snake charmers, «oracles», musicians and not to forget the food stalls. And there is many good restaurants to eat you dinner - with view to the square.

After lunch, your journey continues to the Roman city of Volubilis, where you will get a chance to see the wonderfully preserved original mosaics, Roman road, and city layout. As you travel through the Moroccan countryside we will pass by the Holy City of Moulay Idriss for a photo opportunity. You’ll get to Fes at the end of the afternoon and check in to your riad within the Medina. Overnight at riad. 4th Day : Full day exploring Fes Breakfast in your riad, and then start an explorative journey of the Medina where you will visit the many hidden treasures that only the inhabitants of the place know about. Fes served as the capital of Morocco for more than 350 years and is home to the University of Al Karaouine, the oldest operating university in the world. Your guided tour will take you to Moulay Idriss mausoleum, the Nejjarine Fountains and the Tanneries. After lunch you will also view the exterior of the Royal Palace and walk through the famous Jewish quarter “the Mellah”, where you will have the option to visit one of the few living synagogues in Morocco. Your tour of Fes includes a short visit to the famous ceramic factory, and then you can enjoy a wonderful panoramic view over the whole Medina of Fes.Overnight accommodation at your riad. 5th Day : Fes – Azrou – Midelt – Ziz Valley – Merzouga Desert After breakfast in your riad, you will leave towards the southeast following the Caravan roads to Merzouga. During this journey you’ll experience glimpses of the Middle Atlas and Higher Atlas mountains. Stopping at the Cedar forest, the largest one in Morocco, over the Middle Atlas Mountains– where you may well sight Barbarian apes. After lunch in Midelt, you will continue through the large open high desert, and notice how the scenery changes to reveal hints of the desert as you approach the city Er Rachidia. Your journey continues along the luxuriant Ziz Valley and the Tafilalet date palm grove, famous for date cultivation. This area is the foundation of the Alaouite dynasty – the current ruling royal family in Morocco. You’ll arrive at Merzouga at the end of the afternoon – to be welcomed with a glass of mint tea before you check in to your riad. 6th Day : Merzouga area – Camel trek and overnight in berber tent After breakfast in the riad you will start an explorative journey of the area. You’ll visit the Gnawa people – originally slaves brought from Sudan -to experience their music and lifestyle. Not far away there’s the lake of Merzouga, with its bird populations. You may also visit the souk in Rissani , a traditional town which was the origin of the ruling family in Morocco and the meeting place of the Caravans trading as far as Timbuctou in Mali. Here you will see a lot of men hooded and women veiled. Back to the village of Merzouga for some rest, in the afternoon you will mount your camel, guided by an experienced camel man to explore within the sand-sea of Merzouga. Overnight will be at our desert camp, where you will have your dinner. For your convenience, the camp is equipped with western bathrooms. 7th Day : Merzouga Desert – Todra Gorges – Palm Groves of Tinghir – Dades Gorges Early in the morning, your camel guide will wake you up to watch what well may be the best sunrise of your life. After sunrise you will trek back to the village of Merzouga. Enroute you couldn’t fail to appreciate the unique beauty of the spectacular Erg Chebbi sand dunes – changing with the light as the day progresses. After breakfast in your riad, you’ll leave for Rissani , Tinghir, and Todra gorges – the highest, narrowest gorges in Morocco. After lunch in the heart of the gorge we’ll drive through the Dades Valley, where you’ll see the majestic sand castles and the amazing rock formations known as “monkey toes”. The route through Dades Valley is the way of the thousand Kasbahs – providing numerous opportunities to take some of your best photographic shots of the trip. We’ll stop at Kalaat Mgouna, “the rose city”, to purchase rosewater, which will make your linen smell good a long time after your trip is over. Continue to Ouarzazate via the Amridil Kasbah, one of the last Berber chieftains during the 18th century, now the Kasbah is a house of many Glaoui people. At night you will stop in Ouarzazat . 9th Day : Ouarzazate – Ait Ben Haddou Kasbah – Tizi n’Tichka Pass – Marrakech After an early breakfast in the riad, we wtat our journey to reach the ksar (fortified village) of Ait Ben Haddou where we will visit the famous Kasbah (declared World Heritage Site by UNESCO in 1986). Famous films have been shot in this spectacular stage, including Gladiator , Obelix, The Mummy, The Jewel of the Nile, Sahara with Penélope Cruz…etc. After visiting the kasbah we´ll go to Marrakech, we´ll see Tizi Ntichka port,that. with 2.260m is the highest point in our country. We´ll enjoy beautiful landscapes from the viewpoints on the way and make some stops to take pictures of the berber villages, at the end of the afternoon and check in to your riad within the Medina. Essaouira knew many civilisations – including the Portuguese occupation, which affects much of its architecture – however, it remains a small village with much history. It is considered as one of the oldest valley in Morocco for caravan trading and where the first Moroccan money was made out of silver.A beautiful valley of 15 km of date palms ends up with a spectacular Gorges, mainly used for rock climbing and picnics. We embark on Dades valley which has an astonishing rock formation made by million years of erosion. We cross more Rose Valley, the only place in Morocco where we harvest Damascus rose in which we extract some products like rose water and rose oil best for skin treatment and anti-wrinkles. Overnight in Ouarzazate. Day 6 : Ouarzazate – Ait Ben Haddou – Telouet – Marrakech Next morning there are two place to visit in this cinematographic city. On our arrival to Ait Ben Haddou village we will go for a walk to visit this ancient village. Then we head to the great Telouet Kasbah strong hold fort, built by the lord of the atlas Thami Pasha and was trading center of caravans. Day 7 : Marrakech For the city tour of Marrakech you are going with the local guide. CASABLANCA / RABAT / VOLUBILIS / FEZ. volubilis After breakfast our adventure starts at the magnificent Hassan II Mosque, built by the late King and second only in size to the Great Mosque in Mecca. A short orientation tour of the Corniche area of Casablanca before setting out for Rabat, the Imperial Capital, for our visit of the magnificent Mohamed V Mausoleum where both Kings Mohamed V and Hassan II are buried. We also see the well preserved Tour Hassan and the Chellah which were built by the Merinid Dynasty between the 12th and 13th centuries to then continue our day taking the road to Volubilis, once a busy trading post for the Roman Empire, to see the impressive Roman ruins. The mosaics here are some of the best preserved in the world. A short visit of the Imperial City of Meknes, the one-time capital of Moulay Ismaël, founded in the 9th century by Zenata Berbers, including the old ramparts, the Agoudal Basin: the Moulay Ismaël royal stables and one of the most beautiful gates in Morocco – the Bab el Mansour – and the Moulay Ismaël Mausoleum, one of the very few holy sites in Morocco which may be visited by non-Muslims, then on to the Imperial City of Fez for our dinner and overnight stay. BLD Day 3. FEZ. Fez-place A full day to explore this magnificent city, one of the best living examples of a medieval Arab city and the religious capital of the Kingdom of Morocco. We take in the Karaouine mosque and Medersas whilst also experiencing the hustle and bustle of everyday life in the labyrinth of souks and tanneries. The tour includes photo stops at the imposing gate of Bab Boujloud, the ancient ramparts, the splendid fountain at Place Nejjarine and the beautiful front entrance to the Royal Palace. A light lunch is served in a local restaurant. We return to our hotel for dinner and overnight stay at the end of the afternoon. Doubtless, some shopping will be in mind! BLD Day 4. FEZ / ERFOUD. erfoud-place After an early breakfast we leaving on a full day’s drive south across the cedar forests of Ifrane, with its almost Swiss-Alpine scenery and on through the Middle Atlas Mountains for the desert region of the South. We stop for lunch at the incredible Ziz Gorges, then to take Landrovers for our journey down through the many oases in an ocean of sand to arrive at our final destination of the awesome dunes of Erg Chebbi. From here the Sahara stretches as far as the eye can see. We witness a stupendous sunset to return and spend the night in a local Auberge. BLD Day 5. ERFOUD / TODRA GORGES / OUARZAZATE. ouarza-place We’ll rise before dawn today to experience a breathtaking sunrise over the Saharan dunes from the back of a camel, back for breakfast before taking the road to the Todra Gorges. Lunch is taken in the shade of these towering cliffs before setting off on the road of a Thousand Kasbahs for Ouarzazate. In the afternoon visit of the town, including the 17th century Kasbah Taourirt and Kasbah Tifoutoute, both of which were once the homes of the powerful Pasha Glaoui. (Please note that either or both of these kasbahs may be closed without notice for film crews). Dinner and overnight in our Ouarzazate hotel. BLD Day 6. OUARZAZATE / MARRAKECH / OUIRGANE. ouirgane Setting out early in the morning towards the north up through the High Atlas Mountains via the Tizi n’Tichka and Marrakech to Ouirgane, we get our first real sight of the mighty Jbel Toubkal (4167m) and sister peaks as we arrive at our hotel tucked away in a beautiful valley for a bit of peace and quiet. Ouirgane has been called ‘The oasis in the High Atlas’. BLD Day 7. OUIRGANE / TREK / TIZZIANE. tiziane A late breakfast and it’s time to meet up with our mountain guide and mules to begin our trek of about 5 hours passing through the village of Touroud and from where we strike out along a piste to the National Park of Tassa Ouirgane. At the village of Tassa Ouir (meaning the Centre of Flowers)we hike between red pine and junipers to picnic amidst walnut trees near the forest in the Azerzeane Valley to continue down through the hamlet of Ikoubline and overnight in a Berber Gîte d’étape at the pretty village of Tizziane. (1600m). BLD Day 8. TREK TO AAZIB ASSOUÂL. AAZIB-ASSOUÂL Leaving Tizziane via the Tizi n’Touati (2100M) we ascend for 3 hours to reach the Assaka Plateau, passing stands of holm oaks, red pine and junipers to continue down to the Valley of the Assif D’Knt and a night under canvas near Tizgui at the Âazib Assouâl. BLD Day 9. TREK TO TIZI OUSSEM. tizi-oussem Ascent from Tizgui towards Tizi n’Taghoudalalte at 2700m with its impressive panoramic views. Descent through almost an almost alpine atmosphere with fields of poppies, wildflowers and ancient terraced irrigated fields along the Valley of the n’Aït Ouissa’dane to the last hamlet in this Valley-Tizi Oussem and our overnight bivouac surrounded by the Jbels Tasghimout (2004m), Aguelzim (3547m) and Tazaghârt (3843m). BLD Day10. TREK TO TAZAGHÂRT REFUGE. tazaghart Leaving Tizi Oussem we continue our climb to the end of the Aït Ouissa’dane Valley and then take lunch on a ridge at the Cascades d’Irhoulidene (2300m) with a close-up view of the mighty Jbel Toubkal and her sister peaks, to reach our mountain Refuge home for the night in the early afternoon. BLD Day 11. TREK TO THE TOUBKAL REFUGE. toubkal-refuge Today we cross the remote Tizi n’Taddate (3700m) along off-the-beaten goat trails up through the steep and rocky pass to the Jbel Bignouissen (4009m) where we picnic amidst some quite magnificent views. Our next challenge awaits us but first we descend to our overnight accommodation in the Toubkal refuge which, at 3207m, marks the spring snowline. BLD Day 12. TREK SUMMIT OF MOUNT TOUBKAL. Toubkal-mount An early start today for Toubkal. The summit is neither technical nor demanding but the views are particularly spectacular. When ready, we shall descend via the South Circuit for a straightforward ramble back to the Refuge. In the afternoon we have a gentle hike south-eastwards to the head of the Assif n’Aït Mizane Valley and the Tizi n’Ounoums (3664m) with a view of the distant Lake Ifni to return to our Refuge for the night.BLD Day 13. TOUBKAL SUMMIT / IMLIL / MARRAKECH. imlil An easy walk down the slopes of the Valley of the Assif n’Isouhouanem n’Ouagounss passing through Sidi Chamharouch to picnic by a waterfall then down through granite and basalt rocks to the village of Aroumd, built on a spur of moraine to arrive at Morocco’s ‘Little Chamonix’ – the trailhead village of Imlil for a quick cuppa before joining our transport to Marrakech for our overnight and dinner in our hotel. BLD Day 14. MARRAKECH. Jamaa-place A full day in Marrakech with a tour of the historical sites in the morning and the afternoon in the Souks around the Djmâa El Fna Square, with its myriad of street performers. Dinner is in a Moroccan restaurant with folklore and then overnight in our Marrakech hotel. BLD Day 15. MARRAKECH. souk-ma A day at leisure, or last minute shopping or the opportunity to make optional excursions. BLD Day 16. MARRAKECH / CASABLANCA / HOME. casa-airport Departure transfer for Casablanca in accordance with your flight scheduled for your return flight home. B
